HLK Wins Five National Aster Awards

June 26, 2015

HLK is pleased to announce its recognition by the Aster Awards.

The agency was honored with five awards for its work with SCL Health, earning one gold award, three silver awards and a bronze certificate in categories including women's services, labor and delivery, physician marketing and an internal advertising campaign.

Hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine and Creative Images, Inc., the Aster Awards recognize excellence in advertising and marketing efforts by outstanding healthcare professionals. Nearly 3,000 entries were judged and scored on criteria including creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.

"On behalf of SCL Health, HLK is exceptionally proud to be recognized for our work this past year in the healthcare space," says partner Bill Hughes.

Chief Creative Officer Joe Leahy continues: "Our team of smart, strategic and creative individuals are very passionate about the work we do for our clients, and these awards are certainly a reflection of that."

Have you seen this letter?

In the case of HLK's silver award-winning "Have you seen this letter?" poster campaign, strategist Stephanie Reninger explains that St. Vincent's Hospital — an SCL Health property in Billings, Mont. — was having difficulty verifying its location with Google. Without one direct phone line, the hospital attempted to verify its location via mail, only to repeatedly lose Google's verification letter. These posters, created by HLK, got the letter into the appropriate hands and the hospital properly located on Google Maps.
