As with most automobiles, motorcycle safety is extremely important. Why then, do most commercials and ads only focus on car safety? When the Missouri Department of Transportation came to us with this, we were excited. After all, how do you get a group of people who generally seen as rebellious to follow the rules? Well, our idea was to turn these “rebels” into huge safety nerds. Billboards all over St. Louis featured shots of big, burly bikers juxtaposed with copy that talks about how they not only follow the rules, but are vehement about them. The result? Bikers not only noticed the outdoor boards, but loved them.
While they may not be swimsuit models, Grizz, Sheepdog and Stumpy were naturals. They nailed it. And helped save a few lives along the way.
